Extended FlipCon 2016 CFP Deadline & Discount

call for proposals
FlipCon 2016 is approaching quickly. Before we know it, we'll be down in Allen, TX for three days of learning and sharing best practices and insights on Flipped Learning with educators of all walks from across the globe.
Part of the challenge of putting on a great conference is having a strong schedule of presenters. We've gotten some great session proposals already, but we'd like to try to get some more in before closing the application window. So, we're going to leave the proposal submission form open until the end of February. We'll push back acceptance notices a week or so as well.
Additionally, we appreciate all of the hard work presenters put into their sessions. The quality we see year after year increases and we know there are some people with great ideas. With the change in conference registration this year, we inadvertantly made it more difficult for some of you to submit a proposal. So, we're going to be offering a 50% discount to accepted presenters (up to two per session) off of the general conference registration cost. Hopefully, this will help ease some of the cost burden so you can make it down to the conference in July.
When acceptance notices are sent out, you will receive instructions on how to apply the discount to your registration. If you've already registered, we will be offering a rebate to your paid registration.
We've gotten some really good feedback about the changes we've introduced this year and we appreciate those comments and suggestions. Continue to send them in either through Twitter, @flippedlearning, or by sending an email to info@flippedlearning.org.
